The Professor recommends this video because... He is a BEAST. I found out about this Hungarian drummer a short time ago. If you don’t know his playing…..it’s time to get to know it! However in this solo……he is a “Gentle Beast”. He still parades all of his stuff BUT has some sensitive buzz rolls and delicate tones in addition to his “MONSTER-NESS!!”

His arms actually move VERY LITTLE as he goes all over the kit even at strong volume levels. Such precision. The kind of precision one would want from their physician during laser surgery.

Check out his right hand on the hi hat. It seems there’s nothing it can not do.
